As a red head I have always steered away from bright red clothing. I decided to try and change my way of thinking about the color. My first attempt was with this beautiful patterned dress. The floral pattern with blue and green colors break up the bright red background. This can help you to wear a color that you may not normally be comfortable with. While I may not be wearing a solid color red dress any time soon, I will definitely be incorporating more red patterned pieces into my wardrobe.

Stripes are making a comeback this spring season in a big and bold way. From larger stripes to red and yellow colors according to most fashion websites this is one of the trends this year. I decided to give it a try! This beautiful red and white button up plays with the size of the strips it has a tie off to the side, which you can wear up in a bow or down. This outfit can be worn out on the town or to spice up your work attire. Overall, I am feeling this new trend!

I know we are only in February, but I am already thinking of warmer weather. Since we have a little while until we get there it is time to work some color into your outfit. In this outfit I have decided to mix up a typical business casual look with a floral blazer. This silky number will definitely help hold you over until spring. If flowers arenโ€™t your thing, play around with bright colors, patterns, or both. Pair with a neutral top and jeans for the casual part of the outfit.

This weekโ€™s blog post brings us one step closer to spring!! I have been a big fan of the bold floral prints that have been making their way onto the shelves. This shirt takes it ones step further by using a bold print that you may not expect to see. Many designers have been using ballerinas, pineapples, or parrots to make the item stand out from the rest. Pairing it with a solid colored bottom allows the fun shirt to be the center of attention.
